It’s a painting of emotions; sadness, loneliness, hurt deep inside, the broken glass with jagged edges, the peeling paint, the derelict buildings. The haunting reflection of the viewer looking out onto the derelict scene, almost seeming to cry tears of sorrow into the river as the storm clouds weigh heavily on top of her.

Over the last couple of months the F B EYE has been investigating the gruesome murder of the blood orange. Third in the series.

This watercolor painting is one of a group of thought provoking compositions centered on the theme of the eye. I was fascinated by the idea that if you looked at an eye from an unusual angle you could imagine that the pupil was a pool of water.

And you all thought that life on a still life table was quiet, calm and peaceful. Not on Halloween. A crime has occurred and the F.B.EYE are investigating as I write this.

Christmas Eve is a time full of magic and wonder for everyone but especially for young children. The twinkling lights and shiny baubles which glow, sparkle and shimmer have this baby entranced. His beloved Teddy is discarded for the moment in favor of a colourful Santa bauble which he has pulled from the tree. As he looks in wonder at this bauble he is unaware that a very special visitor has arrived.

Young children put nearly everything in their mouth and in this painting the young girl is experiencing her first taste of snow. I wanted to capture that feeling of a cold day contrasting against the warm cuddly soft clothes and also that sense of uncertainty in the child's eyes as she put the cold snow to her mouth.

Lemurs are found only on the island of Madagascar off the southeast coast of Africa. Over half of lemur species range in classification from critically endangered to vulnerable because of habitat loss due to deforestation.

Looking down into a glass of wine from directly above I was fascinated by how it blurred and distorted the images of whatever lay at the base of the glass...

The most amazing present that you will ever be given is your child's imagination. As they grow they constantly surprise you because every day they see things in such creative and interesting ways.

In this painting the child is looking into a bubble with dreamy eyes. To her this is not just an ordinary bubble but an amazingly magical one! In her imagination there is a whole little world inside this one bubble. In this world, all of the zebras are rainbow colored!
